Have you ever had one of those moments when your tongue moves faster than your brain? I am usually quite composed but I am only human. This exchange happened after training today. I was riding my bike without wearing my helmet yet.
"Wan, where's your f-ing helmet? Wear it you d-head."
"I don't need a helmet. Because I'm so (1) hard (2) I don't need one."
(1) - This is the instant where my mind went at a slowcoach pace while my tongue just kept going
(2) - I wanted to say tough but the wrong word, hard, came up.
And once again I became the laughing stock of the team and had the honours of being called gay for a month.
